The short version
We use a small number of cookies to understand which pages get read and to remember preferences you set, such as turning motion off. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run retargeting pixels, and we do not sell anything to anybody.
What gets set
Preference cookies. If you turn off motion, that choice is stored so the site remembers it next time. Set by us, kept on your device, never sent anywhere.
Analytics cookies. Which pages were read, roughly where in the world the reader was, and which site sent them. Aggregated, and used to work out which pages are worth writing more of.
Scheduling cookies. If you open the booking calendar, the scheduling provider sets its own cookies so it can show slots in your time zone and remember a part-finished booking.
What does not get set
No advertising cookies. No retargeting pixels following you to other sites. No social tracking. No fingerprinting or device identification. No data broker anything.
Turning them off
Every browser can block cookies, either entirely or per site, and they can all clear the ones already stored. The site works normally with all of them blocked: pages load, forms submit, and the only thing you lose is that a preference you set will not be remembered next visit.
If you would rather not be counted in analytics at all, most browsers offer a do-not-track setting or a private window, and both work here.
How long they last
Preference cookies stay until you clear them. Analytics cookies expire within a couple of years or sooner, and the scheduling provider sets its own lifetimes, described in their policy.
